Children's Home Connection (CHC) is a private non-profit tax exempt 501 (C)(3) corporation and an equal opportunity employer practicing non-discrimination in its employment policies and provision of services.
CHC works in partnership with multiple governmental business and community based organizations to maximize the availability and delivery of services to our consumers. The generosity of individuals and organizations in the form of immediate and estate gifts allows CHC to offer the exceptional quality programming that our special consumers are entitled to receive.
CHC is certified, accredited, licensed and/or assisted by the California State Departments of; Education, Health, Social Services, Developmental Disabilities and Rehabilitation, and Mental Health. CHC is also supported by the Alta California Regional Center.
Since the inception of CHC in 1988, we have progressed to the current concept of providing specialized education, vocational training with vocational placement opportunities, and other related services designed to improve the lives of individuals with special needs.CHC takes pride in providing services to individuals with learning, emotional and developmental needs enabling students to recognize their talents strengths and their voice. It is the vision of CHC that all participants will successfully transition to the role of productive adult citizens and will have equal access to resources that will promote full participation in the communities of their choice.
